J-F, as he is known and called by his friends, was born a long time ago in Montreal, Canada, and now lives in Quebec city, which was the first city established in North America by Jacques Cartier in sixteen who cares…
The only thing you need to know about Quebec is that it has been forsaken by the so-called global warming phenomena, as it is presently -24 Celsius.
Now J-F is a perfectly ordinary bloke who grew up under the radar, got a useless bachelor's degree, the wife, the house, the kids and earns a living as a blue collar worker. How boring!
But.
But as it happens, he's been writing since he's 12 or 14; he's been reading tons of books since earlier than that. At some point in his early teens, he realized that all his favorite author were American or English. French translation just didn't do the trick anymore, so with the help of Webster, Fonzy and Bob Barker, he went to work and learned English.
Then, ah then, inevitably, one day he said to himself while reading a cheap paperback: I can do better than this!
Well of course he couldn't, but eventually, with time and practice, he wrote his very first English novel: Mutant Blues.
With this one, he thinks he has actually done it. You be the judge...
